Metallic

This year we have seen the rise in popularity of metallics back into our colourway favourites. The perfect way to add this to your dinner table is to start with beautiful cutlery in shimmering hues of gold and rose gold. Our cutlery collection is classic in style yet adds that touch of luxurious and elegant glamour, and, as a base can set the tone for the remainder of the table. Metallic’s work well with most colour palettes, however we recommend you pair with classic white flatware and neutral tones for a metallic standout, or pair with darker hues for a more modern take on your setting. Complete the look with metallic glassware and add texture with geometric or gold trimmed coasters. The key to nailing this look is to do it with balance, so as not to look too overdone. However, don’t be scared to layer and mix up the metallic hues and texture on the table. The right bit of shine in the right place can create a table that is worth sitting at.

Blush

We are totally crushing on blush at the moment, it’s the new ‘nude’ that became popular a few years ago and, we believe, the most romantic of pink hues. To create a romantic feel set your table with lots of flowers running down the centre. Think tones of pinks, cream, white, with hints of greenery and some baby’s breath to soften. Our Amore heart key rings in blush also make the most amazing name places attached to your napkin rings. Pair with crisp white linen and flatware to give the blush a chance to shine, mix with rose golds to pick up those warm pinky hues or with gold for a more luxurious feel. However, don’t be afraid if you want to set with a darker palette. Blush is oh so elegant when pared with grey or navy tones.

Marble

Marble, in all aspects of the home, has made a massive comeback this year and I predict it will be a popular choice for a lot longer yet. When using marble on the table, I prefer to keep it clean, simple and understated for an elegant look. Crisp white linen and flatware, white flowers with hints of green and crystal clear glassware. There are so many ways you can add this to your table setting, from serving plates, to trivets and our trending marble coasters. It’s definitely a look that makes a regular appearance at our table.

Monochrome

Who doesn’t love monochrome in any design aspect? It’s timeless, sophisticated, classic yet modern. Make a style statement with clean, crisp white and the blackest of black accessories. Our divine, black cutlery sets the tone for the table and pair with our Brazilian Agate stone coasters for a pop of luxurious gold. If you prefer more of a muted tone, add in some grey or blush tones to soften the effect of a black/white contrast. Treat your guests with personalized name place settings, our black Mon Tresor or Monogram key rings are perfect for this.
