Artist creates Sound of Architecture with glass piano

A London-based artist has created the perfect combination of sculpture and music creating a glass piano for the public.

Artist Karlis Bogustovs created the piano covered in glass “buildings” called The Sound of Architecture and left it for the public to use on London’s Canary Wharf.

“I made this from old window glass, cutting it in pieces and gluing each layer together,” he said.

“It took me more than 4 months, working 5 full days a week.”

Bogustovs a skater and sculpture maker is currently studying glass art at the Art Academy of Latvia.
