Andrew Haigh to direct Alexander McQueen biopic

Alexander McQueen’s life and rise to fame in the fashion world is set to play out on the big screen. Andrew Haigh, director of 45 Years and Weekend, announced on Twitter that he will direct the biopic. The script will be written by Chris Urch and Damian Jones and Pathe – the team behind Suffragette, Selma and Mandela – will produce the film. Production on the film is expected to begin at the end of the year.
